Terms of Service

2.1 Membership Tiers

We offer the following membership tiers:

• Monthly Membership: $10/month, auto-renewed monthly
• Annual Membership: $100/year, auto-renewed annually
• Founding Member: $300/year, auto-renewed annually with additional benefits

Membership benefits include access to exclusive resources, events, the member directory, and community features as described on the Platform.

2.2 Account Registration

To access member benefits, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate

2.3 Payment and Billing

By purchasing a membership, you agree to the following:

• Automatic Renewal: Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify membership prices with 30 days' notice. Existing members will be grandfathered at their current rate for the remainder of their billing period
• Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes
• Payment Failures: If payment fails, we may suspend your membership until payment is successfully processed

2.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your membership at any time:

• Cancellation Process: Cancel via your account settings or by contacting us at hello@womendefiningai.org
• Access After Cancellation: You will retain access to member benefits until the end of your current billing period
• 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: Annual memberships may be fully refunded within 30 days of purchase
• After 30 Days: Refunds may be provided on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances. Contact us to discuss
• Monthly Memberships: Monthly memberships are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time to avoid future charges

3.1 Permitted Use

• Use the Platform for lawful purposes only
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Engage respectfully and professionally with other members
• Provide accurate information in your profile and communications
• Uphold our Community Values and Community Guidelines

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, or discriminate against other members
• Share, distribute, or resell Platform content without authorization
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Spam, solicit, or engage in unauthorized commercial activities
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others

4.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and other materials (the "Content"), is owned by WDAI or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

4.2 User-Generated Content

When you submit content to the Platform (profile information, comments, resources, etc.), you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant WDAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform
• Represent that you have the right to share the content
• Agree that your content does not violate any third-party rights

4.3 Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@womendefiningai.org with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner

7.1 "As Is" Basis

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, career advancement, networking opportunities, or other results from your membership. Your success depends on your own efforts and circumstances.

7.3 Third-Party Content

We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or legality of content provided by members or third parties. Views expressed by members do not necessarily reflect the views of WDAI.

11.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with WDAI, please contact us at hello@womendefiningai.org to resolve it informally. We will work in good faith to reach a resolution.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11.3 Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any claim or controversy shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California.

You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit.
